About Fayetteville Tree Service Pros
A Fayetteville tree service that shows up when it says it will and leaves the yard clean.
(479) 317-8391What we do and where
We are a tree service working in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Removals, pruning, stump grinding, storm response and tree health work, on residential and commercial property. We are licensed and carry both general liability and workers' compensation coverage, and we will hand you a certificate of insurance without being asked twice.
We stay in Fayetteville on purpose. Knowing the neighborhoods, the soil, the tree stock and how the city handles right-of-way work is worth more to you than a company that covers four counties and treats every job like it is somewhere else.
How we quote
Someone comes out and looks at the tree. Every time. We do not price removals from a photo or over the phone, because the things that actually determine the cost, what is underneath the tree and whether equipment can reach it, are not visible from a description.
You get a written estimate covering the scope of work and the price. That is the number you pay. If we find something mid-job that changes the scope, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that costs more.
How we work
Crews rig and lower rather than dropping wherever there is anything below worth protecting, which in this town is most jobs. We chip and haul, then rake and blow the work area before we leave. If you want the wood for firewood, tell us where to stack it.
We do not top trees. If someone asks us to, we will explain why it damages the tree and offer the pruning that actually solves the problem. If they still want it topped, we would rather lose the job.
We would rather keep your tree. A healthy mature shade tree is not replaceable on any timeline that matters. When we look at a tree and think it can be saved, we quote the pruning instead of the removal, even though the removal pays better.
What to ask any tree company, including us
Tree work has a low barrier to entry and a high injury rate, and the gap between the best and worst crews in any town is enormous. Four questions sort most of it out.
- Can I get a certificate of insurance sent from your insurer? Not a photo of a paper. General liability and workers' comp both. If a crew member is hurt on your property and there is no comp coverage, that can land on you.
- Is the estimate in writing, with the scope spelled out? Including whether the stump and debris removal are in or out.
- What happens to the debris? Hauled, chipped on site, or left, and what each costs.
- Do you want money up front? A deposit on a large job is normal. Full payment before work starts is not.
Ask us those. We will answer all four before you have to push.
